The Design

The Smart Way Reading and Spelling method is an Orton-Gillingham-based program, utilizing a series of 27 easy-to-use flip charts that assist people of all ages learning to read or who need reading help. There are no small or moving parts to get broken or lost. The reading coach reads aloud, following instructions on one side of a flip chart, while the student performs the exercises on his side. This format allows the student to complete lessons quickly, building his confidence while being fully engaged. Bright Sky Learning, LLC products have also been proven highly effective for Limited English Proficient (LEP), English Language Learner (ELL) and English as a Foreign Language (EFL) students.
